Get Ready to SOAR at Heartland
Welcome to Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration (SOAR), a program developed to assist you in preparing to begin or continue your college experience. For students new to Heartland, SOAR is an important piece of the enrollment process that combines all of the most important elements for student success and gets you ready to register for classes.
To begin your path to success, tell us whether you will be a part-time or a full-time student.
- SOAR for new full-time credit students*: those enrolling in 4 or more classes; 12 or more hours
(Half-day SOAR session required for full-time students.) - SOAR for new part-time credit students*: those enrolling in 3 or fewer classes; 11 or fewer hours
*Credit students are taking classes that could be applied toward an associate's degree or certificate. Learn about other classes that Heartland offers.
