Community Day 2014

Where:  Heartland Community College Raab Road Campus

When: Saturday, June 7

Time: 9:00 a.m.-2:00 P.M.

Community Day was a chance for students and community members to sample classes in areas such as Fitness and Recreation, Cooking, Arts and Sciences, Technology and other personal interests such as planning for retirement.  A popular course that was held in the Community Education Center auditorium was led by Sonja Reece who has presented it in the past, "Tips To Organize Your Records NOW, before you need them." The event drew in over 250 people in attendance.

"The Beginner Belly Dance course was fun for all shapes and sizes. It was a blast and everyone in it seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. It definitely makes you want to take the class!" said Heather M.

"This class [Ikebana] was excellent! The instructor was very knowledgeable, calm, and effectivein covering important information in a short time," said Lindo Samuel.
