6:00-7:00 p.m. Creating Your Networking Pitch

This session provided the key elements that make up a networking pitch that can be used at job fairs, career events and other networking opportunities.  It can also help in an interview that begins with the question, "So tell me about yourself."  Participants had a half hour to work on creating their own 60-second pitch.

"I am so glad I came! I got so much great advice in terms of how to better my resume and the 60-second elevator pitch. I had an excellent time. The room was full of wisdom," said attendee and giftcard winner Clara Owens

 7:00-8:00 p.m. Speed Coaching

Participants rotated between various experts who provided feedback on their newly-created networking pitch and offered feedback on resumes and how they can be improved.

"It was most helpful meeting one-one-one with the experts, especially practicing my networking speech and getting feedback," said participant Jessica Poppe.

"The feedback was great! Hearing what potential employees think about your first impression and what they look for in future employees was helpful," said participant Arrielle Carson.
