Students at
HCC and community members may access personal computers, printers
the Internet and much more in the Academic Support Center Computer
Lab. Also, computer stations on the west side of the lab have been
added to accommodate the growing use of electronic mail by students.
All computers
in the lab are networked to provide easy access to software and
printing services. The Lab Staff also have some tips for general
printing and printing from the Internet.
Lab monitors are available at all times to assist the users with
any technical difficulty that may arise.
The
ASC computer Lab staff have compiled a few handouts to help users
with common “How to”
questions. These are
available in the computer lab or here as Adobe Acrobat files.
All computers
in the ASC Open Computing Lab have the Windows 2000 Microsoft Office
Package. The computer
lab also has specialty
programs on select computers, and 2 computers available for
use by those who have special
needs.
