Testing Services

Located in the Academic Support Center, the Tutoring and Testing Center  provides the service of make-up testing to instructors.  Students can only take tests during the Tutoring and Testing Center's scheduled hours. Instructors are to drop-off and pick-up exams during these hours as well. Students who are unable to take a test during testing hours should make alternate arrangements with their instructor.   In order to maintain the security of the testing situation, the following guidelines have been developed:

  • Instructors must complete a Request for Testing form (PDF version) for every exam they leave in the Testing Center.  Instructors are encouraged to list all students who will be taking the test on the back of this form.  You can save this form to your computer using the MS Word version

  • Students are monitored by staff and a video surveillance system.

  • All students must show a PHOTO ID before taking any test.

  • All tests must be completed within the testing hours. Tests that are not completed will be collected at the end of testing hours by the Testing Assistant.

  • Students may not leave the Testing Room during a test. If a student leaves, s/he will not be allowed to continue the test unless the Testing Center receives permission from the instructor.

  • No cell phones, pagers, children, food, or beverages are allowed in the Testing Room.
