To graduate with a two-year degree from Heartland Community College, students must satisfy the constitution requirement. This exam is available to Heartland students only.

The exam covers:
A paper/pencil test with 79 short-answer, multiple choice and true/false questions.
A total of 53 correct answers is needed to pass with at least half correct in designated sections.
A study guide called Better Government by Louis Sigalos may be purchased at the Heartland Campus Bookstore for approximately $10. Ask the staff for help in locating the guide.
The HCC Library has a copy of Better Government that can be checked out, and an additional copy is located in the reference section.
