5/5/08 - Sophomore shortstop Mike Stalter led the Hawks with three hits, including a long ball, to a 21-3 win over Lewis and Clark (16-19) in the Sub-Region championship game at the PONY Baseball Complex in Bloomington. With the win the No. 17 Hawks (36-13) advance to the Regional tournament in Springfield.

5/4/08 - Ty Wiesemeyer and Mike Stalter each had three hits in a 15-1 victory over Lewis and Clark in the second game of the Sub-Region tournament at the PONY Baseball Complex in Bloomington. Jimmy Suits (5-2) went six strong innings allowing one earned run with five strikeouts.

5/4/08 - The Hawks opened up Sub-Region play with an 11-4 win over John Wood at the PONY Baseball Complex in Bloomington. Ty Wiesemeyer was one of six Hawks who had two hits. Wiesemeyer also hit a triple and drove in three runs. Ryan Juris (7-0) struck out nine batters and allowed three earned runs in eight innings of work.
