Assistant baseball coach Ryan Britnell is a graduate of Normal West High School where he and the Wildcats were sectional champs his senior year. Britnell completed two years at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, where he helped the Loggers win the NJCAA World Series in 2000. He served as an assistant under Nate Metzger with the Twin City Scrappers from 2002-2004 and helped coach the team to a 2002 NABF World Series win. Ryan was also an assistant under Nate Metzger in 2005 for the East Peoria Scrappers in the Central Illinois Colligate League. Ryan presently resides in Bloomington with wife Nichole and daughter Emma.
