Heartland Hawks Boy's Soccer Clinic and Scrimmage, Grades 4-7 & Grades 8-12
Heartland Hawks Soccer
August 4-5, 2010 - Corn Crib - Normal, IL
Join the Heartland Coaching staff for this combo camp. Spend the first part of each day with a short clinic covering foot skills, scoring techniques and strategy. Then, spend the rest of each day scrimmaging in the new sport turf stadium here at Heartland! It's a great way to pick up some new skills and immediately apply them with real game action. Heartland Hawks Summer Softball Showcase, Grades 9-12
Heartland Hawks Softball
July 5, 2010 - Corn Crib - Normal, IL
This showcase is for high school players looking to play softball in college. The recruiting process for college coaches can begin very early in a player's high school career. The Heartland CC softball staff will evaluate you in both the velocity and timing of throwing from your position(s), a batting practice assessment, home to 1st times, home to home times and all-round athleticism. Pitchers and catchers will also be evaluated in a bullpen session. All information gathered will be available to you following the camp. Join the NJCAA 2009 National Champions this summer at The Corncrib and learn the offensive techniques and philosophies that led them to their title. Head instructor Daryn Miller, a current United States National Team member and head coach of the Heartland Hawks, will teach the techniques the best players in the world are using. Learn proper setup, weight distribution and swing path while developing a mental approach that will lay the foundation for your upcoming spring season. Heartland Hawks Summer Softball Pitching & Defense Camp, Grades 4-12

The Heartland Hawks softball team is a national example for good pitching and defense. It was largely responsible for their 2008 NJCAA National Runner-up and 2009 NJCAA National Championship. At this two-day camp the coaches will pass on their philosophies for pitching, catching, infield and outfield play. Join the Heartland baseball coaches at the new Corncrib athletic stadium. This camp will focus on improving your swing and philosophy at the plate. Campers will be divided age appropriately to facilitate maximum improvement. Each camper should bring their own bat and batting gloves are strongly suggested. Expect many swings and a lot of attention with our low camper/coach ratio. Come learn the techniques and ideas that make Heartland one of the best hitting teams in the country each year. This camp is designed to work on specific skills using stations & drills that focus on mechanics, execution and mental preparation while emphasizing arm strength and accuracy. Also covered will be correct positioning for certain situation and the philosophies behind it. Pitchers will work on mechanics, proper pitch grip, pitch location and overall delivery fundamentals. Heartland Hawks Summer Baseball Showcase, Grades 9-12
July 30, 2010 - Corn Crib - Normal, IL
The Heartland CC Showcase Camp is for student-athletes looking to play baseball in college. Position players will be evaluated by means of the 60 yd dash, infield/outfield, batting practice and tee exit velocity. Arm strength will also be evaluated from each position using radar (including catchers). Pitchers will be evaluated by means of the 60 yd dash and a radar gunned bullpen. Campers are eligible to participate as both a position player and pitcher. All information gathered from the evaluations will be presented to you following the camp.
