Coaching Experience:

  • Worked for two years as an Instructor, developing players at Club Magic in Frankfort, Illinois.
  • Co-Coach (with Ruben Horna) for the first varsity high school program in the Twin Cities at University High School.
  • Worked with Juan Carlos Michia (National U.S.S.F. Coaching Coordinator) in the selection process for the U.S. National Teams assessing Hispanic and other minority players (Project 2010).
  • Coached two years for Club Pegasus in Chicago.
  • Invited three times to be an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Regional Coach for the U-17 men’s team.
  • Has worked with Tim Carter (ODP & National Team Coach) on various ODP Projects.
  • Worked as Trainer and Conducted clinics for two years at Blackhawk College for Club Spurs founder Jose Medina in Moline, Illinois.
  • Five years as an Instructor at N.C. State summer camps under Coach George Tarantini.

Player Experience:

  • Played for various respected youth clubs in his county of Argentina.
  • Played Varsity for Las Brenas Sarmiento School in Chaco, Argentina.
  • Played at Club Cooperativas in the Northeast League of Argentina on the "C" Argentine Division.
  • Played at Club Huracan in the Northeast League of Argentina on the "C" Argentine Division. (Left club at age 16 to move to U.S.)
  • Played at I.S.U. for then coach Bodo Fritzen.
  • Played in Springfield, Illinois on a semi-pro team. Team included Ayden Gonulsen and Joe Eck (past and current coaches at Springfield U of I).

Licenses/Degrees:

  • Holds an "E" USSF License.
  • Possess a High School Coaching License.

Accomplishments:

  • Has coached several traveling teams and by doing so, developed many top-notch players on a Club, State, Regional, National, and International levels.

Licenses/Degrees:

  • Retired from General Electric in Bloomington, Illinois.
  • Husband to Phyllis Kowerko, Father of two children, and Grandfather to one.
