Paul Rayburn enters his first season as an assistant women’s soccer coach for Heartland Community College

Paul Rayburn brings over four years of coaching experience to the Heartland Hawks program. Previously, he was the goalkeepers coach at Central Catholic High School under head coach Patric Molinari and has been providing goalkeeper training to area youth in McLean County for several years.

Since playing locally in the Bloomington-Normal youth club systems, Paul spent four years as the starting goalkeeper on the varsity team at Central Catholic High School. He spent two years as the starting goalkeeper at Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Maryland before moving back to the Bloomington-Normal community on 2012 to settle down. He is currently playing for the Peoria Sports Verein club team in Peoria, IL.

Paul and his wife, Mary, live in Bloomington, IL and he is currently in the process of attaining his coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
