
Hayley Sefton (Nichting) has been the head coach for the Central Illinois Select Tsunami soccer team since 2003. The team is currently a U16 club team. They have won many games/tournaments. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with an Athletic Training degree.
She started her career at Metamora High School where she received honorable mentions and MVP for 2 years. She went on and played at Olivet for 4 years where she started as their goal keeper for two years and then moved to midfield/forward for the remaining two years. At Olivet she was named Honorable Mention All-American in 2001 and was also the MVP in 2002. In 2002 she was second in scoring with 15 goals and Olivet also ended their season being 3rd in the Nation for the NCCAA National Tournament.
When not participating in soccer she also coaches a High School Girls Basketball team, referees soccer, and enjoys the outdoors.
