Why do you love working at Heartland?

I love the tight-knit community that we have at Heartland. I enjoy the personal relationships that I make with my students and the faculty and staff here. The students come from all walks of life, and I learn so much from them.

What other areas of interest do you have?

When I'm not on campus, you'll often find me on the Constitution Trail. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities like walking, biking, hiking, and snowboarding. I love to travel, even just short weekend trips away. When I'm actually home, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and decorating.

My role at Heartland Community College

I often serve as the Course Coordinator for the Math 09x classes and am always busy working on curriculum updates, both within my own courses and with the Math Department as a whole. I teach both pre-college level and college-level courses, and both in-class and online versions of many of those.
