CHLD 108: Guidance of the Young Child

Prerequisite(s):
-Placement at college level English OR
-Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 099/101

The theories of behavior analysis and guidance are introduced and the relationship between careful observation and effective interaction with children is examined. Techniques and skills will be presented that promote appropriate behavior management. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
