CNST 103: Building Mechanical & Electrical Systems

-Completion of MAIN 101
-Completion of or concurrent enrollment in TMAT 103 or any college level math
-Placement at college level English OR
-Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 099/101
-Placement at college level reading

This course introduces students to the basics of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP) systems commonly found in commercial buildings. Topics covered include design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems, construction documents, estimating, energy efficiency, and troubleshooting. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
