Construction Documents and Quantity Takeoff covers the basics of construction blueprint reading and quantity takeoff, including the topics of drawing types, nomenclature, technical drawings applications and material usage. This course prepares those involved in the planning, supplying, and/or building of structures to read construction blueprints and provide a list of materials.
While there is no formal prerequisite for this course, students should have a familiarity with basic mathematical concepts of fractions and linear measurement. 3 credit hours
