ELTC 102: DC Electronics
-Completion of TMAT 103 OR
-Placement at MATH 93 or MATH 94 or higher
(no literacy placement testing required)
You will learn about direct current and its uses, including the descriptive and analytical relationship between voltage, current, resistance, power, and energy in series, parallel, and series/parallel DC circuits. You will also learn how Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, and network theorems are applied to DC circuits. In the laboratory, you will use test instruments and measuring techniques that complement the theories you learn. 3 credit hours
Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
