ELTC 102: DC Electronics

-Concurrent enrollment in, or completion of TMAT 103, MATH 106, or MATH 109 with a C higher
-Placement at ENGL 099 or higher OR
-Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 094
-Placement at college level reading OR
-Concurrent enrollment in READ 091

DC Electronics deals with the descriptive and analytical relationship between voltage, current, resistance, power, and energy in series, parallel and series/parallel DC circuits. Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, and network theorems will be applied to DC circuits. Laboratory experiences complement the theories studied and allow student to use test instrument and measuring techniques. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
