-Completion of MATH 161 with a grade of C or higher
A second course in Calculus. Topics include (but are not limited to) the following: area between two curves, volume, other applications of the integral; techniques of integration, including numerical methods; L’Hopital’s rule (indeterminate forms); improper integrals; sequences and series, convergence tests, Taylor series; parametric equations and polar coordinates. A graphing calculator is required for this course (instruction will be based on TI-89). 4 credit hours
