MTT 110: Tool Design

Prerequisite(s):
-Completion of MTT 101

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of toolmaking. The student will review designs of basic jigs, gages and fixtures for specific machining applications. Design and fabrication of various tooling will be required. Dimensional accuracy and machining efficiency will be emphasized. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
