NETW 122: Routing & Switching Essentials

-Completion of NETW 121
-Completion of English placement tests, or exemption from placement tests

This is the second of four courses in the Cisco Networking Academy designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology. Instruction includes, but is not limited to: network terminology and protocols specifications, LANs, WANs, Ethernet, TCP/IP Addressing Protocol, dynamic routing, and the network administrator?s role and function. Particular emphasis is given to the use of problem-solving to solve networking problems. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
