This course provides an introduction to psychology as the scientific study of human and animal behavior with an emphasis on the factors that influence human behavior and mental processes. This course also focuses on how we may use knowledge and theories of physical and emotional/cognitive growth, learning, personality functioning and coping, and social interactions in our everyday lives. 3 credit hours
