Child psychology is the study of human development from conception to puberty. This course will examine the many environmental and biological factors which shape and influence development and will study many different areas of cognitive, social, emotional and biological development. The contributions of a variety of individuals and schools of thought will be drawn from in order to provide a balanced perspective representing modern psychological understandings. 3 credit hours
