RAD 112: Radiographic Procedures I

-Acceptance into radiography program
-Completion of HLTH 110 with a C or better
-Completion with a C or better or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 181, RAD 111, and RAD 113
-Placement at college level English

This course includes detailed instruction in radiographic anatomy, patient positioning, proper beam-part-image receptor alignment and image analysis for chest, abdomen, upper extremities, shoulder girdle, lower extremities, pelvis and hip and a discussion of Arthrography and special considerations. A laboratory component is included. 6 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
