-Acceptance into radiography program
-Completion of the following with a C or better or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 181, RAD 111, and RAD 112
-Placement at college level English and reading
This course provides clinical opportunities for practical experience in applying knowledge and skills presented in RAD 111 and RAD 112. Students will observe, assist patients and perform basic radiographic procedures under the direct supervision of an ARRT-registered radiographer. Emphasis is on chest, abdomen, upper extremities, shoulder girdle, bony thorax, pelvis and hip procedures, with clinical competency testing in those areas. 2 credit hours
Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
