RAD 121: Fundamentals of Radiologic Sciences II

Prerequisite(s):
-Completion of HLTH 110, BIOL 181, RAD 111, RAD 112, and RAD 113 with a grade of C or better
AND
-Completion with a C or better or concurrent enrollment in RAD 122 and RAD 123
AND
-Placement in college level English and reading

This course focuses on the proper concepts of patient care. This includes information on isolation and sterile techniques, vital signs, tubes, catheters, emergency care, contrast media, basic pharmacology and venipuncture. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
