-Completion of BIOL 181, RAD 111, RAD 112, and RAD 113
-Completion of the following with a C or better or concurrent enrollment in RAD 121 and RAD 123
-Placement at college level English and reading
This course provides clinical opportunities for practical experience in applying knowledge and skills presented in all RAD courses. Students will assist patients and perform routine radiographic procedures with emphasis on previously learned radiographic procedures, lower extremities, spinal column, SI joints, scoliosis series and long bone measurement/bone age studies. Students assume greater responsibility during exams, continue competency testing and begin working toward mastery of clinical practice. Skills are refined under the direct supervision of an ARRT-registered radiographer. 2 credit hours
