RAD 134: Radiographic Imaging I

-Completion of RAD 121, RAD 122, and RAD 123
-Completion of or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 182, RAD 132, and RAD 133
-Placement at college level English OR
-Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 99/101
-Placement at college reading

This course includes instruction in the multiple energy transformations required for the production of radiographic images. Current imaging equipment and emerging technology are discussed. The nature of ionizing radiation, its control and interactions with the body are included. 3 credit hours
