SOC 225: Sociology of Work
-Placement at college level English OR
-Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 099/101
-Placement at college level reading AND
-Completion of SOC 101 recommended
This course provides an introduction to the sociology of work, including an overview of the history of work and a look at the impact of technology, diversity, inequality, and bureaucracy on the culture of the workplace. The connections between work and personal life will also be explored. 3 credit hours
