TECH 171: OSHA Construction Safety

The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker?s general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. OSHA Construction Safety requires that students learn basic OSHA safety guidelines such as recognizing general safety and health provisions, health hazards, components of fall protection, and more. Additionally, students will earn a certificate for completing the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training Course; this is a nationally recognized certification. 1 credit hour
Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
