TECH 172: OSHA General Industry Safety

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide an entry level worker?s general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards in a general industry setting. OSHA General Industry Safety requires that students learn basic OSHA safety guidelines such as recognizing general safety concerns, hazardous material, personal protective equipment, and more. Additionally, students will earn a certificate for completing the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training Course; this is a nationally recognized certification. 1 credit hour
Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
