Prerequisite: TMAT 103 with a grade of C or better, or assessment. This is a second course in technical mathematics. Topics include trigonometry, vector operations, exponents (including logarithmic form), radicals, systems of linear equations, factoring algebraic expressions, complex numbers, quadratic equations, exponential functions (including logarithmic form), matrices and statistics. An emphasis is placed on application and computation. Some work will require a scientific calculator. 4 credit hours
