WELD 220: Welding Fabrication for Industry

Prerequisite(s):
-Completion of WELD 218
(no literacy placement testing required)

Welding Fabrication for Industry is a course designed to allow students the opportunity to demonstrate their technical welding skills in preparation for industry. You will learn about safety, set-up techniques, quality production, economics of design, fixturing, hold-downs and clamping, and support materials; manufacturers require these skills in order to improve production and safety in the workplace. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
