WELD 220: Welding Fabrication for Industry

Prerequisite(s):
-Completion of WELD 218 OR
-Permission of division dean or chair

This course is designed to allow students the opportunity to demonstrate their technical welding skills in preparation for industry. Topics include safety, set-up techniques, quality production, economics of design, fixturing, hold-downs & clamping and support materials. Manufacturers require these skills in order to improve production, and safety in the workplace. 3 credit hours

Career and Technical Course: This course is a specific requirement for an Associate of Applied Science or certificate program and may not transfer. Please consult with your advisor about transferability.
