Plan an out-of-this-world party with your friends and family!

We offer unique 2 hour birthday experience designed for up to 12 children and 2 adults for $250. Guests experience "out of this world" activities that just may inspire a future astronaut.

CLC Participant Release Form (PDF)

  • The following items are included in a CLC Birthday Party:
    • Game and science/craft activity provided by CLC staff
    • Simulated space launch in Athena Transport Module
    • Space themed decorations, including paper goods
    • Goodie bag for each child participant
    • Gift for birthday child from the CLC
    • Access to refrigerator/freezer
    • 2 hour facility use
  • Prior to the party:
    • Three weeks in advance, complete and submit registration form
      • Provide up to three date and time choices
      • Select game and craft/science activity
    • Two weeks in advance, pay 50% non-refundable deposit
    • Two business days, confirm number of children and adults attending with CLC staff
    • When sending invitations:
      • Provide a Participant Release Form for each guest
      • Collect Participant Release Form prior to or at the party
    Day of the party:
    • Arrive 15 minutes prior to start of party
    • Provide and setup your choice of food, cake, candles and refreshments
    • Turn in Participant Release Forms for each guest (children and adults) to CLC staff
    • Ensure all guests have been picked up within 15 minutes after the scheduled party end time
    • Pay remaining balance along with any additional fees
  • When applicable, the following fees are added to the invoice:

    • If more than 12 children attending, $15/additional child participant
    • If more than 2 adults attending, $5/additional adult participant
    • Late pick-up fee of $2/minute/child for any pick-ups after 15 minutes from the scheduled party end time
  • Cancellations must be received, in writing at least 1 week prior to party. If less than one week, customer is responsible for payment of remaining balance.

    Planet Bucket Toss All Ages Score points by tossing a bean bag into the planet buckets
    Star, Star, Planet Ages 5-7 A game similar to Duck, Duck, Goose
    Pin the Tail on the Comet Ages 8-12 A game similar to Pin the Tail on the Donkey
    Space Bingo Ages 8-12 Bingo with a space theme
    Scavenger Hunt Ages 9-12 Hunt through the CLC looking for items on the list
    Space Probe Ages 9-12 Pass the probe and pull out a task to act out for others

    Alka Seltzer Rockets All Ages Build and launch a simple rocket using the power of science
    Edible Slime All Ages Create slime that you can actually eat
    Flying Saucer Craft All Ages Create a space craft you can play with
    Oobleck All Ages Experiment with Oobleck’s crazy properties
    Rocket Life Savers Craft All Ages Create a candy rocket
    Galaxy Sun Catcher Craft Ages 5-8 Create an ornament of a galaxy
    Rocket Water Bottle Craft Ages 7-12 Is it a rocket or sparkly globe?
    Space Fuse Bead Craft Ages 7-12 Create a space ornament using fuse beads
    Neutral Buoyancy Balloons Ages 8-12 Challenger your team to make a balloon float in the air
    Paper Rockets Ages 8-12 Build and launch a paper rocket
    Planet Hacky Sacks Craft Ages 8-12 Create a planet hackey sack you can play with
    Marshmallow Challenge Ages 10-12 Engineer a tower with spaghetti and marshmallows
    Mini Space Mission Ages 10-12 Fly a one hour mission in place of craft/science activity and the Athena Transport Module simulation
