John Zaffis - Godfather of Ghost Hunting
The Godfather of ghost hunting, John Zaffis will be presenting a 90 minute lecture and cover topics of the paranormal world and share many of his experiences that he has endured over his 30 plus years as a paranormal investigator. You will see images, videos and listen to audio clips that he has collected over the years and learn about the many cases and lives that he has helped. This powerful presentation will be followed by Q&A time during which you can personally share your own experiences or ask John about his work with the paranormal. There will be a short meet and greet time before the presentation so be sure to bring your camera for pictures or John’s book to be autographed. Meet and greet will run from 5-6PM and the presentation will start promptly at 6PM. Don’t miss out on this very unique opportunity to hear from one of the founding fathers of the paranormal world!
After John’s presentation, join us for a semi-private paranormal investigation lesson with John Zaffis himself. He will talk about the different equipment and techniques used and lead you though an actual investigation. We will investigate a Bloomington home that was featured on the Discovery Channels “A Haunting”. We will learn about the family’s experiences and then have time to use what you have learned to investigate the home to see if you can find any evidence of paranormal activity. Each group will have approximately 1 hour of investigation time in the house with John Zaffis. Transportation will be provided from Heartland to the investigation site along with snacks and entertainment. The investigation will start immediately following the presentation and conclude around 11:30PM. We only have 30 spots available for the investigation so register today to reserve your spot!!!! Participants are encouraged to bring a digital camera and recorder along with other paranormal investigation equipment such as EMF detectors and digital thermometers. Equipment will not be provided for individual use and is not required to attend.
