Youth Enrichment Program

Thank you for making our 2008 Summer Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) a success! Community Education offered over 80 classes for youth with topics that included: Computers, Creative Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts, Life Skills, Academic enrichment, Space & Science, Recreation, Horseback Riding and more! We will beginning planning our Summer 2009 programs very soon.

This fall we are offering several YEP courses as well as classes for homeschool students:

  • Kindermusik Village with Seniors® for Children from Newborn - 18 months
  • 3-D Drawing for Kids - Grades 3-4
  • Fencing for Beginners - Grades 6-10
  • Intro to Game Maker - Grades 6-9
  • Game Programming II: Multi-Player Games - Grades 6-11
  • Homeschool Basic Keyboarding - Grades 6-9
  • Homeschool Learning & Fitness with Horses
  • First Experiences with Horses - Grades K-2
  • Learn to Ride for Children - Grades 2-8
  • Learn to Ride for Teens - Grades 8-12
  • Beginning Chess - Ages 16 & up
  • Intermediate Chess - Ages 16 & up
  • Build Your Own PC - Grades 6-11

College Prep

Get the edge you need to enter college! In addition to our popular Enhanced ACT Review course, we are offering ACT Math review, ACT Writing Prep and college application and scholarship workshops. Check out our fall College Prep courses online.

Parent & Child Courses

Spend some quality time with your child and enjoy learning together. Note: each course has a different age requirement, so please check the course description. Both parent and child must be registered for the class. Fall 2008 Parent & Child courses include:

  • Beginning Sign Language for Parent & Child
