Heartland Community College is a great value. Our tuition is one of the lowest in the area - about 1/3 that of public four-year schools and just a fraction of private colleges.
New students who plan to enroll at Heartland Community College for the first time are required to follow the new student enrollment process. Initial enrollment must be done in person.
If you are currently enrolled at another college or university and want to enroll in HCC courses to transfer back to your institution, enroll as a visiting student.
If you have taken a class at Heartland, but have not attended in the last three
semesters (fall, summer, spring), enroll as a returning student.
If you have taken classes at Heartland within the past three semesters,
enroll as a current student
If you are a high school student who is 16 years or older and want to earn college credit towards a degree while still in high school, enroll as a College Now student.
Community Education classes are designed for personal and professional development - from health and fitness to computer skills.
