Fulfill Your High School Requirements and Earn College Credits

College Now is a program designed for students like you who wish to begin taking college credit courses while still in high school.

The Benefits

Did you know high school graduates who start their freshman year with completed college courses:

  • May accelerate degree completion
  • Have the opportunity to take a lighter load during a challenging semester

Through College Now, high school students can enroll at Heartland Community College during the summer and the school year to experience:

  • The same content as in an equivalent course at a four-year college or university
  • Small class sizes where the focus is on student success
  • A college environment and coursework before leaving home

Earning Credits Towards Your Goals

College Now courses are offered at all three HCC campuses, online, and maybe even at your high school. Whether you continue your education at HCC or complete your education at another college or university, an HCC advisor will help you learn more about how the credits you've earned satisfy general education requirements for a certificate or an Associate's degree here at Heartland or a four-year bachelor's degree.
