Enroll as a New Student
- Apply for admission.
- If you live outside of Heartland's District 540, review residency requirements.
- Request official high school and previous college transcripts.
- Determine if you need to take the Basic Skills Assessment.
- Contact Advisement to make an appointment to see your advisor.
- Secure funding for college.
- Using the login name and ID number provided in your acceptance letter, set up your myHeartland account.
- Register for classes through myHeartland.
- Obtain your HCC student photo ID.
- Pay tuition/fees by the deadline.
- Activate your refund preference after you have received your Heartland OneCard.
