College Costs

Heartland Community College is a great value. Our tuition is one of the lowest in the area - about 1/3 that of public four-year schools and just a fraction of private colleges.

You are not a number, or a face lost in a crowd of students.
You are here because you want to succeed.
We are here to help each individual — like you.

Enroll as a Visiting Student (enroll in classes to transfer back to four-year college)

As a current college student enrolling in classes, you should check with your college or university to ensure the classes you take at Heartland meet the transfer requirements at your home school. Documentation of prerequisites is required to enroll in classes at HCC. As a visiting student, you should bring a transcript or progress summary from your college or university when meeting with an HCC academic advisor.

Enrollment for Spring 2012 classes will begin on Tuesday, November 1.

If you are currently enrolled at another college or university and want to enroll in HCC courses to transfer back to your institution, please complete the following steps to enroll as a visiting student.

To start:

  1. Submit HCC application.
  2. Obtain a copy of your current university transcript or progress summary.
