In an effort to increase service to students and reduce costs, the Financial Aid Office communicates with all financial aid applicants via email only. Students no longer have to wait for postal mail to receive information about financial aid. Students can access the site to download missing forms needed to complete the financial aid process, or get more information about their financial aid status.
Heartland students will receive notices through their Heartland-assigned email accounts so students should check their Heartland email regularly. Additionally students can see which documents are needed to complete their financial aid through the IRIS tab in myHeartland, using the following steps:
If a specific form needs to be completed, there will be a link to the form which can be downloaded and then completed. Students must print the form and obtain the appropriate signatures. The completed, signed form is then ready to submit to the Financial Aid Office in person, through postal mail or fax. Note: Due to signature requirements, forms cannot be submitted electronically.
