ISU Financial Aid Agreement

Heartland Community College has an agreement with Illinois State University that allows students to be enrolled at ISU and HCC at the same time without affecting financial aid.

Financial Aid Consortium Agreement with Illinois State University

This consortium agreement means financial aid can be received to attend both ISU and HCC.

To qualify:

  • You must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours at Illinois State University (ISU) and a minimum of 3 hours at Heartland Community College.
  • The ISU hours must be greater than or equal to the HCC hours.
  • The HCC hours must be transferable to ISU and count toward your major course of study. Check with your ISU advisor to make sure your credits will transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to contact the Financial Aid Office at Illinois State University BEFORE the enrollment period begins to complete the appropriate consortium agreement paperwork. Under the consortium agreement, all financial aid will be processed and disbursed by Illinois State University. You are responsible for making payment arrangements with Heartland for your Heartland classes.
