A professional photographer from will take pictures at graduation. More information about purchasing photos will be available at commencement. We also might use these photos for promotional purposes.
Your guests can take pictures during the ceremony, too. We'll have a designated area.
We'd love to see any photos you take. Use #HeartlandGrad on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so we can give you a big social congratulations.
This map shows you available parking in downtown Bloomington.
The arena has plenty of seating, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We're happy to accommodate any guests or participants who need handicap seating. Just let us know.
The celebration doesn't stop after the ceremony. You and your guests are invited to attend the President's Reception (also at the arena) for refreshments.
Receiving Your Diploma
A few things to keep in mind:
- Participation in the commencement ceremony does not automatically ensure you have earned a degree, certificate or diploma.
- Graduation audits are completed as soon as possible following the ceremony for spring and summer candidates.
- Diplomas will be mailed to you approximately 3-5 weeks after all final grades are posted and all financial obligations have been met.
