Financial Aspects of Early Intervention

When you find out that your child needs early intervention services you may worry about how you will afford this additional expense. Trust us... you are not alone! In general, early intervention services are first billed to any private insurance that may be in effect for your child. A sliding scale fee structure based on family income and family size is established for early intervention services. Feel free to discuss concerns about the financial aspects of early intervention with your case manager.

In addition, detailed information about insurance and billing is available through the Illinois Department of Human Services.
