Instructional Development Center

In direct support of the mission of Heartland Community College, the Instructional Development Center is charged with fostering excellence in teaching and learning by supporting professional development of faculty, recognizing outstanding teaching, and encouraging the use of emerging technology and innovative methods. As part of the Division of Academic Affairs, the Instructional Development Center is dedicated to assisting faculty, both full-time and adjunct, with their overall teaching and learning needs. Staff members who work closely with students are served by the IDC as well.
