Heartland offers several opportunities for the community to get involved in international activities.
Cultural Tours
Heartland Community College offers short-term cultural trips, which provide the advantages of traveling abroad, participating in guided tours of cultural attractions and being part of a group tour while earning college credit.
Chinese School
The College is proud to support this unique program primarily consisting of a series of Chinese language and culture classes for young people and their parents. These classes focus on learning to speak, write and comprehend Mandarin Chinese while becoming familiar with the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese language.
International Partnerships
Heartland Community College has agreements with institutions of higher learning in other countries. Such partnerships may be used to facilitate student exchanges, faculty development, and curriculum development.
