Opportunities for Students
Heartland students can choose a program of study for a semester or a summer. Students who study abroad gain understanding of other cultures and traditions that cannot be obtained from a textbook. Students can choose to travel during the fall, spring or summer semester.
Study Abroad Programs Available
Heartland offers semester study abroad to Canterbury, England, Salzburg, Austria and Seville, Spain and summer study to Salzburg, Austria, San José, Costa Rica, and Sydney, Australia.
Cultural Tours
Heartland Community College offers short-term cultural trips, which provide the advantages of traveling abroad, participating in guided tours of cultural attractions and being part of a group tour while earning college credit.
