Heartland Community College offers students the chance to expand their horizons by immersing themselves in another culture through a variety of programs. Studying abroad requires advanced planning.

The programs are available to participating Illinois community college students. Some programs are organized by other Illinois community colleges so the majority of the participants may be from that institution.
Heartland students can choose a program of study for a semester or a summer to several destinations including:
Study abroad programs to China, Germany, and France are available with credit transferred from another college. New destinations are in development so please check regularly with the International Office (CCB 2308).
There are minimum requirements a student must meet before considering studying abroad.
