Heartland Community College Library has the resources to help students succeed and to support professional and instructional development.
Current employees should access the Library online through myHeartland
Heartland librarians work closely with instructors to meet student research needs. Start each semester off right by having a librarian visit your class to teach information literacy skills and introduce students to Library resources.
Heartland librarians can support your academic research by explaining copyright policies, obtaining resources through interlibrary loan, setting up RSS feeds from academic journals and conducting specialized research. Help the Library build an active collection by suggesting titles tied to your curriculum. At your request a librarian will work with you to develop good research assignments. You may also place books, videos, and articles on reserve for your students.
